This motto is also the title of a hymn published by the British Society for promoting Christian knowledge in their 1843 hymnbook, “First Truths; or, Lessons and hymns for Christian children.”
The motto is backed with a page taken from the, “The Peoples Paper." The newspaper’s delivery label tell us it was delivered February 14, 1933 to Mrs. G.C. Smith, Box 28, Pugwash, Nova Scotia before being recycled as a backing.
